Listened to my backstreet boys album yesterday

Never Gone album released in 2005

I've recently realised that they are coming for a concert at suntec city.

Single seats left for the cheapest tix!

Searched for their live performance in youtube just now.
First time watching their live video since I used the internet.

Can't believe it!
They have been together for 16years!

I listened to their song since primary 4 or 5?
8 years already!
Though I stopped listening since I switched to mando songs in sec sch.

I know there are only 4 members now cause kevin left for his family.
AJ is getting married!
I duno bout the others. Only know that nick carter is not married yet.

I used to like nice carter alot. Cause of one pic frm another album i got. Thats when he was young! Nick is 32 this yr.
Haha!

时光飞逝
2009年过的特别快

但那年过得还不错!

2009年我看了生平第一次的室内演唱会（宥嘉）和室外演唱会（五月天）
去了香港，台湾旅游。
也去了大概每年都会去的云顶2次。
上个礼拜才去了旻佑的活动。
做了很多我想要做的事。

感恩啊！

2009年我觉得自己也对我的生活做出了努力，成果如何还言之过早
但不管怎么样我尽力了
这样就足够了吧。

好了！

希望今年我可以延续去年的坚持，让自己过得更好！
虽然有些事还是由不得我自己做主，但为了让大家都好过，舍弃有时是必要的。

Hello & Goodbye Evan!

I went to Evan Yo's autograph session and event at st james ytd.

First time seeing him in person although I had started to like him since his first album.

Evan came out and sang the first song of the day, 我回来了
A right song to start with, since he did not come sg to promote his 2nd album the last time. My opinion of him is that he is very active, lifts up everyone's spirit when he came out. Everyone chorused 我回来了不是那个谁我用贴标签这样不OK..

This part came out and the feeling was like, oyea, he is back XD

This Evan has a liking to not wear shirt when he is alone or smth and he said he caught a cold on sat night, when he came out of the bathtub just to get his facial foam in the room. -_-"

He then sang 寂寞，好了 and that ends the singing part and started the signing part.

P.S: although he has a flu but still sang well! Impressed.. 寂寞，好了的'feel' was not bad at all!

P.PS: I think I am fan girl-ing again but his eyes are really mesmerizing. Will be hooked when he looked at you! Omgness...

And really did. He heard us, stopped, turned, waved. We waved back and hurried off to take cab. You may think we'r nutcases. Well~

St James dragonfly was dim, cold, squeezy. (caused everyone squeezed to e front)

Waited,waited and waited.

He finally came out, said he had taken medicine, had his coke, ate fried chicken, felt better. 以毒攻毒 ah...

Sang 寂寞，好了 again, followed by 小乖乖(he calls his fans 小乖乖 and then I know this is like a 词to make u feel closer to him...)
He sang 发光的简讯- One of my fav in the album.

And he started to play his version of 双节棍！ What a talented boy. Can't believe i get to hear him play this song live.

I forgot the sequence for the rest of the songs but nvm.

He kept asking 你们还想听什么。

Someone shouted 大丈夫！ He started~ I.....don't wanna Boyfriend. I need a real man~real man~real man~ ended with, I need a girlfriend. 但希望不要再当兵之前因为我怕她兵变He kept asking us if we will 兵变。 Funny la this guy.

Something frm e 2nd album he sang 2人，playing the keyboard. I love the front music part of this song! 老地方 too, which I didnt expect him to sing.

Evan: 结果真的没做主打。好咯！ lols..

He also sang the song that got him into the career-爱很简单,with a continuation of 月亮代表我的心。

Last song that ends the whole event was of course, 我可以。

First time hearing live and it was really touching! Some part will make u feel like crying. Evan was very 感性 during this whole event which makes it like a farewell concert. Thats why most of us came out with a feeling of lost.

Sadded. Awaiting the nxt time I can see him again!
The new friends of mine went to see him off today.

I re-watched One million stars video on youtube and watched Creep sang by yoga in the final round. Listened to Xin Yue Tuan playing it and finally listened to Radiohead's original version.

I only know that this is such a famous song since 1994 if im not wrong, after reading the comments from the video.

I must say that this radiohead version really rocks.
I love it!
No one can beat this.

They treated me to dinner, bought me a present, let me blow a candle on my birthday!

I had this thought during the trip back home in the train just now.

I recalled it was them who bought me cake on my birthday when I was in sec3 or 4(I forgot which yr)During redcross days.

We were seated in the middle of the parade square that time, with a few juniors.

A few years later, it was them again who celebrated my birthday like this for me.
They bought me a cake, lighted a candle, and let me make my wishes. A different place(outside Cathay), same people.

It has been a long time since I've blown a candle on my birthday.

We've all grown up, may have drifted a little apart, but we still come together these days.

One of my wishes included this.

To all who may be reading this, lets all treasure the relationships we have now.

These feelings are wonderful.

I'm grateful.

I've lost count on how many times I've been replaying this album
And I have not chosen the song I like most!

This album lets me find something new the more I listen to it.
Today, I followed the lyrics when I play this song on the stereo at home.
(I actually prefer to play cd out loud instead of using earpiece)
I found that this song gives people some encouragement too.
The rock tune lets people trash out their feelings, getting lost in the song.

Today can be counted as an unfortunate day.

I took out a bracelet I haven't worn for a long time and wore it to school.

Heaven knows why the train today was so packed with people that somehow my bracelet let go of my wrist and got lost.

Maybe I'm just not fated to be with that bracelet.

Think one of my cousin gave it to me when she came back frm overseas...
Forgotten who.

Unfortunate thing happens in the morning, and I'm starting to feel that the pace in school are stepping up and is starting to get heavy once again.

Just heard over the radio that MayDay will be here in SG for hit awards.
我不淡定了!!!
Kept reassuring myself that I will be there the next time they come but when is it that I can ever do that?

Last year at least got yoga, eason plus mayday.

Taiwan trip 28/09~02/10

I'm back!
5days 4 night free and easy. Wasn't that easy.

Day1~DanShui old street
Bought alot of things frm a shop tt was having sales XD
Had 阿给 for dinner. (beancurd containing 东粉)

Day2~half day tour starting early in the morning, chartered by a van, together with a malaysian couple. I must say that the tour guide 小芬 is really a professional.
The tour brought us to 国父记念堂, 故宫 blah blah place.
I esp love the trip to 故宫. This is a museum that shows the antiques frm long long time ago.
Its better to have a tour guide if u ever go to these places as they will explain to you in detail the antiques and jades you are seeing.
This particular piece of jade has given me a deep impression.
Called 翠玉白菜

This piece of jade is in the shape of white cabbage.
The tour guide said the colours are natural!
Its really nice...

Day3-(the day when I turned into a crab)

Why?

Cause I got burnt by the sun!

Why?

Cause we went to YeLiu!

To look at rocks in shapes.

In the end i was amazed with the blue sky and sea. Not the rocks.
HAHAs!

YeLiu is a must go!

Day4-Jiu Fen Old Street.
I like that place!
Its really a long long street going up hill I think.
Can buy 土产thr.
Thr have dorayaki!
Hehheh.
Interesting place.

Went to taipei 101 after that but didnt buy tix to go up to observatory cause thr was a tour grp.
Very paragon de paragon!
Papa very tired frm walking so mama n I went shopping ourselves.
Went taipei metro undergrd mall.
Damn big and long!
Thought I wun get lost cause how big can a mrt station be?
But we walked and walked and walked and in the end, we can't find the way back to take train!
Asked a cleaning auntie who told us to follow the sign. We were That Y22 and were asked to walked to Y1! Very very far and it is really undergrd. Have to walk up and dwn stairs de...
+ we walked the whole day ald. So leg very tired.

Didn't find it nice to walk and then I told mummy I havent been to any StayReal shop!
(Didn't go when we were at XMD cause too messy and late ald on 3rd day)
So we took train to another station and went to tt shop! (thats another thing off my list!)

That branch is much much more easier to go to compared to the one at XMD.
Shops thr looked more classy and more ex.
I actually can't find the design I wanted so I asked whether all the designs are available.
The guy said all were displayed ald and asked what design I was looking for.
I actually can't rmb!
In the end I just said it was smth regarding the word "peace" and he got it.
Found out that the shirt i wanted was a limited edition. 300shirts gone and no more!
Bought another design in the end. Very nice!

Thr is only one attendant in the shop and there is only the 2 of us in the shop so the service was v.gd. (taiwanese shop attendents are all very polite! I'm impressed!)

P.S: The guy in the shop is very handsome. Tall enough some more.

Day5-Didn't go anyplace cause mummy wasn't feeling very well and the bus came at 1pm.

P.PS: The tv programmes were superb!
Loads of shows to watch and I had a good time watching alot of spongebob squarepants in chinese. I'm loving spongebob!

P.P.PS： China airline is really not bad. Food is ok too. There is even mayday song in their radio station for airplane! So cool. Hahas. Its actually not. But I'm happy!

是的，本人明天早上就要搭飞机去我心中很重要的天团的所在地-台北-啦。

我也没有机会去小巨蛋看看了吧。
要去的地方实在太多了。。。

五月天在台北DNA演唱会结束了，
这4天下来最雷人的有：

冠佑唱超人
今天唱后青春期的诗（我还蛮想听的）
石头今天也唱了九号球

没有我喜欢的恒星的恒心！
wahaha...

但是我好想听现场的约翰兰农和一棵苹果的。。。4场都唱了。。。

但是美关系！
接下来以后的演唱会我会尽量每一场有能力的话都出席！！！！！！
这样我才有机会听到现场版的每一首歌。

She also asked me a question when we were having dinner.

Me: Because we have myopia.

14/09-16/09 Genting Holiday

Yeap. Anybody noticed that I'm missing for these 3days?

I guess not.

Well, I guess this trip can be considered one of the best out of all the trips I've made to Genting these years. Because, I've got more company!

Hahas. I went with 大姨,姨丈,2nd cousin,her bf,cousin who is 1yr older than me and 2 of her friends.

Yes, 2 total strangers. Two 20yrs old guys who just finished their BMT not long ago.
But luckily we get along fine. The friends of my cousins are mostly fun people.
XD

As you know, the movies in Genting is always so cheap so its a MUST to watch at least one movie while you are there.
And we watched UP.
Yea. the cartoon that is like quite long ago already?
But anyways, 3 out of 4 of us havent watched it so we chose that.
Quite a good movie must say.
At least I liked it alot more than Wall-E.

You know what, for those who didn't know, there is this premium seat in their cinema which cost a little bit more than normal seat that you guys should buy next time you go to genting.
The premium ticket comprises of a ticket, a soft drink, a container of popcorn and a bag of tidbits. Guess how much it cost? Only 6.60Sing dollars! OMG...

Plus, must choose to go during our poly holidays cause there are not much people and its also cheaper!
You know what, Day2 is outdoor themepark day.
There were practically no queue for all the rides!!!
OMG.
Of all the times I've been there, there is always long queue so guess how good it is to no need to wait hours for one ride!
And, I am proud to say that I went for all the rollercoasters that I didnt dared to go onto last time.
We played corkscrew 4times!
Fun!
But I don't really like space shot.
Damn scary when it suddenly came down.
My heart almost drop out.
We played archery!
Very fun although there are alot of misses for me.
My arm now cramp liao.

Did not buy alot of things this time cause I've saving my cupboard for taiwan trip XD

老爸早上还说要帮我付费，当作是我的18岁生日礼物

觉得我长这么大
每次说要买一件比较贵重的物品，本来说好自己付钱的到头来每次都是爸妈帮我付而且每次都说当作我的生日礼物。
所以我每次生日还没到就已经收了家人的礼物。

这次这把吉他不同了。
我现在有责任把它的声音放大
虽然我没有这个能力让全世界听到
但我希望它至少能够陪我度过我那简单不起眼的生活
陪我度过我生活的每一个阶段。

Been thinking that am I getting overboard in doing the things that I want to do?

I think i've let myself loose, to enjoy this time.

I became selfish.

I'm having a mixture of feelings.

Afraid that Iwill not persistent

Nervous if the teacher will scold me if I'm stupid?

Embarassed if I can't even play the notes well after a few lesson?

When should I buy a guitar?

Budget?

Still loads of questions to be answered.

昨天去了中学的聚会晚餐，看到大家还是老样子，嘻嘻哈哈就这样过了一顿晚餐。
时间真的过得很快，都两年了，两年后，我们的及任老师都找到了她的终生伴侣，在明年的一月份就要不如礼堂了。还请我们这些爱闹的猴子去喝喜酒，我敢说她在冒很大的危险啊。。。

就在昨天的凌晨1点钟，我躺在床上，习惯性的播放着我爱的歌曲入眠。
突然很想听《爱情的模样〉〉现场版的，就放了影视来看
那时候觉得这首歌很适合送给现在应该在热恋中的老师，很甜蜜，很幸福的感觉。
听着听着我的眼泪就这样留了下来。
是感动吗？
是奢望吗？

不知道。

只知道在夜深人静的时候静静的掉眼泪感觉蛮好的。
这是我第一次听歌听到流泪，这种感觉何时再来呢？

我觉得栋梁的现场功力进步了！

比我上次听的好。

三首歌都很不错。

现场气氛还蛮平静的
除了新马粉丝会呐喊以外，那些“成熟” 女人都不会这样吧
所以并没有很high的感觉。

当然，他的歌也不会high到哪里去吧。
IMM 场地很好，也许是因为是晚上的关系吧
现场还有凉凉的风吹来呢！

才说到我想吃老地方的炒福建面
想不到今天竟然真的吃到了.

虽然搭巴士下错站但还好没迷路 =D

就因为下错站，我们经过了外公外婆的家，我童年几乎每个星期六都去的房子
如今它以不属于我们家的了
房子卖掉了

大概说了外公会站在窗户那里跟我们挥挥手想起了小时候跟表哥表姐弟妹们在房间里玩耍，偷偷吃零食的小事，鼻子有点酸酸的

这些都是美好的回忆

如今大家都长大了还能保持不错的感情我就心满意足了。

听完了，让我自己来做个分析吧。
专辑一共有十一首歌，一首快歌，一首合唱歌曲，其他都是他擅长的抒情歌曲（慢歌）

1） Sempurna-意思是完美。但我不知道是什么语言。
一首听了不会有特别印象的歌

2）沉默的瞬间-抒情摇滚曲风本人头一次在广播上听觉的不怎么样，但这首歌耐听。

3）低调-也是要听几次才会好听的歌，到副歌会琅琅上口

4）说你也一样爱着我-很甜蜜的歌又一点肉麻的感觉

5）就是爱-合唱歌感想：就是怪

6）我们都有错-不错听的歌

7）男人不坏-比较不一样的曲感想：还是唱情歌的好

8）不要再听他写的歌了-没意见但不是最好听的

9）爱你胜过自己-本人最喜欢的歌有说故事般的起伏高潮。好听！

哇！
I was browsing thru mayday's baidu tieba and saw a thread regarding their first album.
I entered the thread and found 2 songs I thought I didn't hear before so I looked it up on the net.
One of the songs was 生活
Unfamiliar title but once I heard the music, I was like, wait, I heard this song before very long ago when I was like...in primary school?
I didn't know this song was sang by mayday then.

I've had a filling day.
Why?
I ate ALOT of food today!!!

Uncle brought us(mama and grandma) to a restaurant this afternoon for a mother's day lunch get together.

Guess how much the meal cost?
$340!!!
OMG.
But the dishes were great.
Steam Crab
Shark fin(i felt sinful) but thinking tt sharks are so fierce and even eat innocent ppl, forget it.
Fish cooked in a way that I loved! Mum noticed I ate quite alot of tt fish today. 难得.
Sea cucumber-it was huge!
Tofu-tastes very special.
One whole duck.
拼盘that consists of octopus, seaweed and I dunno wad.

Mood wasn't so good during practical.
Because I couldn't get the power of the eye using the damn scope.
And the stupid scope ran out of batt so fast when I wasn't done using.
Almost all of us wasn't in a good mood.
Our day was ruined by the prac.

But it was so much fun when we were playing pictionary during the 2hrs break.
Couldn't forget Josephine's BELLYＤＡＮＣＩＮＧ！　

Special day on 30th april because its e first time I went to SPP's clubhouse and the first time I went onto the Singapore Flyer!!

Suppose to go take picture on the flyer but I failed to get a good one because my camera wasn't good enough and there is always reflection and lighting problem...couldn't take behind glass.

But I had fun during the whole outing.
Met new people-Reen's bestie Jacquelyn, Joo's friend-ShuPing, More Spp people, newbie-yr1 Stacey. Reen can only rmb her chinese name-Limin.

Reen was super high at night when I met her.
I told Jac tt she doesn't know how to spell her name.
Reen was talking on the phone wif Timothy.
She heard me telling Jac and suddenly screamed a high pitch note & scared the hell out of me & Jac. Really scared! It was really sudden.
Reen was so high all the way as we walked to the flyer.
In the flyer cabin, we wasted quite alot of time taking unglam pictures which I have no idea with whose camera.
So we have unglam pictures all over.
I think some were taken by a yr2 guy name Drew.
He volunteered to help us take picture with dslr and so we just took them.
I just rmbed flashes going on even when we weren't ready yet.
Reen pulled my hair during one shot.
Shocked the hell out of me.
Told you she's mad.

Think I've left a bad impression for the seniors, cause we were quite crazy in the cabin I think.
While some of them were busy taking professional images of the night scene, we were making alot of noise & playing.
But even if they didn't like it, they didn't mentioned anything.
Spp people are nice!

They must be beaming now if they ever see this. LOL.

~I like to stay up late like this taking my time to type out my thoughts, watching videos while waiting for my hair to dry.~

HongKong Trip 16-20April2009

Day1
Reached HK airport & had pasta at the one of the restaurant in the airport.
The pasta tastes funny...
Took an expensive cab to the hotel. Think the cab fare cost over $100 just for an half hour ride from airport to the hotel.
I stayed in a hotel named Prudential hotel, in KowLoon I think, the hotel very near to their train station, the one name Jordan.
The hotel was not bad, accommodations are never bad when travelling with uncle.

It would be nice if there is such thing in my room...

Singaporeans are so lucky to be singaporeans...

I actually forgotten what I did.
Took train to other stations...
Had mango desert late at night bout 11plus??
HongKong people are all night owls.
The shops closes at 11pm-12am.
So late!
But they open their shops at 11am-1.30pm like that.
Makes sense...
Went to times square...mum says its quite well known...

Had lunch at a 茶餐厅
There was a cute signboard outside.

Had Mango desert somewhere I forgot e place.
Though its expensive, but its yummy!!

Day2
Went to causeway bay by train.
The train ticket

Looks nicer than sg's.

Stayed at starbucks for most of the afternoon.
Don't want to talk about it.
Almost wasted the whole day.
Looked ard at Coach shop.
Saw lots of nice nice bags!
Too expensive...

Aunt brought us to a shopping centre late at night to show us their VERY LONG ESCALATOR

Took train by ourselves to 旺角
Was a rainy day.
Raining dinosaurs.
Wasted trip.
Didn't buy anything.
Aunt took us to the arena of stars to have a look.

Its Good Friday today!
I've finished reading another book by 九把刀, called 爱情，两好三坏
两好三坏 is used to describe baseball.
I don't understand how a baseball match works before reading the book, and I am still not sure after reading the book.
But I'm rather interested to know...=)

Since its a public holiday, the librarys would be closed so I couldn't borrow another book.
I'll have to wait till saturday!

Wow. I'm impressed with myself for reading 2 chinese storybooks in 3days.
Hmmm...

Anyways, since I've also finished watching 法政先锋II
I have nothing more to do online and I don't want to start on another drama series in case I get hooked.
I've just finished watching a movie called 五月之恋
I know this movie because of MayDay again, and the movie has them starring in a few parts...
The story line is only so-so...not a very good movie for me but passable.
In addition to this movie, I've also watched 摇滚本事.
So there isn't any video or movie of MayDay that I haven't watched!

As far as I can find that is...

Now I think I'm ready for school to start
But I don't really have the mood to start studying...
This long holiday has been very enjoyable...

I have been reading during the holidays.

I used to read alot, reading is my fav past time.

Now it isn't. I think.

I can't get myself attracted to books anymore.

At least not storybooks in english.

I found that I now prefer to read books in chinese.

I read my mum's collection of books & now I'm reading a book by 九把刀

Its called 红线

It is actually about romance.

I don't usually read books about romance.

Actually, I've never tried books on romance.

I've heard about this author from dunno where before & then Lynnie let me know about this author who wrote a book titled 后青春期的诗 the name of Mayday's 7th album.

So I went to the library in search of this author.

I found out that the cover page of his books are quite nice.

They are mostly of cartoons. 插画. is that what its called?

Well, this story I am currenly reading is quite ok...

Not that mushy like what I thought story about romance would be.

I'm already half way through & I just started reading in the morning.

Its time I relive my past time. =)

There is this description in the book that I like alot.

Let me reflect on these three days
The three days where I don't have my parents with me.

To be honest, I think having some alone time at home is pretty good.
I'll have the whole house to myself, I can do what I want, without having to consider about anything else.

I can sing aloud to the empty house,
I can play my favourite CD that my mum thinks its too noisy to be appreciated
I can mind what I eat for my 3 meals,
I can use the laptop until after midnight.

These I can't do it with them in the house.

However,
Luckily these only lasted for 3days...
Because it will be too quiet without hearing them.
Too boring without my mother here to chat with me.

Pros & Cons.
I guess I can do this once in a while.

Mum says Dad suggest we go Malacca next time for the weekend.
I'm anticipating that trip already!!

This is not a rubbish dump.
But it looks like it

Been working these 2 days to distribute flyer for a travel agency.
It was kind of a great experience for me as I have never done anything like this before.
Having to be standing in the public for so long...having meals at staircases...

It was also fun,
where you actually get to observe people passing by, the things they carry, people they are with, how they dress and etc.

I think its interesting to observe people, just by taking one glance at them.

Please Don't think i'm a sicko.

These 2 days,
I've seen all sorts of people.

Chinese, Malay, Indian, Caucasians, Koreans, Japanese, Filipinos
Beautiful people, Handsome people, Plain people, people who are not so perfect
People who are happy, stern, bored, irritated, angry
Friendly people, unfriendly people, cool people, proud people
Elderlies, Adults, Teenagers, Children & Babies

How fascinating.
Just like all these colours...

The world is vibrant~exciting...

I feel like I've been floating in & out these days...
Coming down with a flu but I've been popping pills.
Hope I'll recover soon!

Went to YJ as promised & saw alot of 4Aspire mates!!
Was happy to see them...as I won't be going to the gathering on Monday night...
There was some kind of bazaar over there at Yj and Lynn asked us to go over for a mini class gathering as most of them won't be able to make it for the night outing.

JC people are so busy.
They barely have time to breathe and have fun from what I heard from clara...
But they'll graduate soon and go to university!!

Hang on guys!
The worst will be over soon!

I must specially thank Shirley Peh going through the trouble to get a nice gift for me & clara.

Special thanks to lynn as well, because she was the "organiser".

Both of them said they were so touched that we went for their school's event.
It happened to be on a saturday & they didn't expect us to be there...
& I was touched by the little things they did for us.
Its nice to know that we are still good friends even after secondary school days...

Plus, the funniest thing of all was because of HanHui. FPM.
The way he talked(shouted, actually,) to the phone to Albert was damn hilarious.
Like an Uncle.
He didn't even seem to notice whats wrong when all of us were laughing our heads off when we hear him talking on the phone.

If you think you saw a mad person ytd at cwp cd shop,squatting and standing, searching madly for something in the huge load of cds in the shop,
No need to ponder.
Thats Me.

HAHA.

I was at cwp on my own, so I decided to check out the shops to look for mayday's album.
As I know that it is impossible for the shop assistant to help me dig out the album, I looked for them myself.
Still, Can't find any.
But I'm still going to check every cd shop I go.

Instead, I found Mayday's concert vcds and dvds.
& guess what?
I bought final home vcd!
WooHoo!
I pester lynnie to ask if I should buy.
But I guess I would have bought it anyway if I didn't call her...
I was suddenly reminded that I would want to buy that 出头天演唱会dvd on the 20th of March.
I AM SO BROKE.

And I am going to look for that samsung mp3 tmr.

I had just finished watching 3 of the 5 vcds from the Final Home concert vcd I bought.
AWESOME!
As always.
But sad to say that I have actually watched most of it before on youtube.
I didn't know its from this vcd.
But, I still glad that I bought it.
Its a great collection!

I found that ::

The screen usually show ASHIN and Monster most of the time.
Monster amazes me with the guitar.
冠佑 is terrific with the drums.
Look at the sticks fly!

ASHIN looks dashing in red.
The colour suits him.
I think light pink suits him too.
It doesn't look gay on him.
Very nice.

I love the way he sang 温柔.
the part when he finsh saying the OS.
Then he sang.

Its really touching.

Very emotional.

Great.

I found out that his voice can actually last throughout the whole concert.

If he add in the songs from this newest album, I think he will need alot of water.

Their special effects with the fireworks were brilliant.

I made my first waffle with the machine on saturday!
SiLing came to me hse & teach me.

The sides are abit uneven as the mixture overflow alittle when I add it to the machine...

Starting of the Holidays

Yeap.
Finally updating.
I finally bought the waffle maker today!!
Thanks to Siling for accompanying me to go ard searching for it.

Some ask why does it has to be today?

The answer is because both of our concession ends today and we don't want it wasted.

HAHA.

Its quite tedious actually.
We went to Jurong point at first, as there is a brand new fair price extra over there...
The fair price looks more like Giant supermarket to both of us.
Anyway...
So what if it is as big as Giant?
Dang...
It doesn't have the waffle maker.
Wasted trip.

Plus: Both of us can be counted as 路痴 and Jurong point is quite big, therefore we actually went ard & round looking for the supermarket.

It was around 1.30pm and we did not have our lunch.
The plan was to go somewhere and buy finger food to eat.
Well, Jurong point do not have alot to choose from. They are mostly restaurants.

& so, Siling was craving for Tako, so we went IMM.
Partly because there is Giant over there also...

We walked to IMM and bought our finger food.
You know what?
The yoga lim autograph session stage is still there.
Cool huh?
Free 宣传.
SiLing didn't know its there so she took photo.
I already took a picture of it on tue.

How I wish I was there on that day...

We saw the waffle maker over there but guess what?!

迷宫新加坡演唱会2009

The concert ended at about 11.30pm.
Yoga sang alot of songs, his voice is very nice, very special.
Don't think he went off pitch even once during the concert.
Good job.
Quite alot of people turned up for the concert.
Its not empty as I expected.
Its quite FULL infact.
But I have no idea if most of them are fans of S.H.E
I think their songs are ok but I think their pitch is too high.
Too high to enjoy.

Wondering why I'm not screaming or typing furiously?
Cause I felt empty.
Its not that the concert is not good.
Given the next concert, I'll still go.
But i don't feel the excited feeling I thought one is suppose to feel after watching a great concert.
I don't expect the kind of highness after watching mayday's concert but shouldn't I be feeling excited?

Instead, I felt CALM.
My mind is Quiet
Maybe this is the power of this guy.
He is special.

I don't really have strong impression on any of the songs he sang except one.
The song is called 我 by 张国荣.
I have watched video of him singing this song before but I didn't like it.
However, this time he sings it, he said this song helped him found himself or smth like that.

& he started singing.
I was touched by the way he expressed this song.
A little bit or tears came out from nowhere by the time he sang the first verse of the song.
It was really good.

O yea.
I like the part where he danced to the oldies.
It was very cute.

I thought that he has only become high during the encore part, that is when I too, really truthfully get high.
And from then onwards, it was really enjoyable.

Its my first timing listening to live version of 请说and慢一点
& I like 慢一点.
Its really a good song.

Again, truthfully speaking, the special guest part was really unnecessary.
Those precious time could be converted to his singing with him playing the guitar himself.
I would really hope to see more of that.
1 song is really not enough.

However, fly me to the moon with olivia ong was very nice.
I would like to hear him sing this whole song all by himself.
雨和眼泪 is another song that I loved.

I'll try to recall the songs he sang during the concert using my weak memory.
But not now.
I'll try to get some sleep now.

It has been a tiring week and it will continue to be...
I was so stressed up on friday night that I almost went crazy.
But I was ok after venting my frustrations.
No worries.
It always happen to me.

I was thinking yesterday.
Can I drop what I am doing now and go find a simple job and be happy?
Without all this stress and everything.
I was so stressed that I actually thought of giving up.

BUT

What will my parents think?
It would be a waste of their money.
The school fees for poly is really not cheap.
I can't do this to them.
So I hung on and carried on with what I was doing.

I am really amazed with the people who studied to become future docters or lawyers.
They must have alot of things to memorise.
How do their brain cope?
I can't even cramp the notes into this stupid useless brain of mine and they have to memorise so many things...for life.

Kudos to these people.
I wish I can be like them.

Went to the florist @ thomson road just now.
There are quite alot of bungalows located just next to the florist.

The houses looked like palace!
Its so majestic looking from the outside with a huge gate, can see the swimming pool which i believe is quite big in size and all....

Living in that kind of place.
So that I can go in and take a look around.
I really wonder what it looks like inside.
I don't even want to imagine living inside cause i never would.

I was walking home from work just now, listening to the random songs in my mp3.
The song shuffled to yoga's qing shuo.
I suddenly realised that it has been awhile since I last heard his song.
I didn't have any feelings, just kept walking, concentrating on his voice....
After the song, I had a sudden urge to listen to a more special song from his album.
眼色
The pathway I was walking on was beside the road but there was no one around except me.
I looked up at the night sky and managed to see a few stars shining above.
I couldn't find the moon.
Has the night sky always been so dark?
So dark that I can hardly make out the presence of the stars...
Has it got smth to do with the air pollution?
Is the night sky of the other countries the same?

The starting of the song was a melody from a piano.
It can be quite creepy if you think of it.
At the same time a gust of wind blew across me.
I suddenly felt this song has a kind of special power.
I had a special feeling for this song.
U may not know what I'm talking about
Do not worry cause I'm not sure either.

Went to visit my grandmother today at my uncle's house.
Didn't go thr for like 1 week plus?
Seemed like a long time already since I last saw my beloved aunties...
LOL.
Nth much to do in the house.
We left ard 5pm and walked to sembawang shopping centre.
I think this mall is also considered quite small but at least its better than sunplaza.
Sunplaza is small until!!....
Anyways, Sembawang shopping mall has quite a big walkway like AMK hub.
Cool.
But....
The shops there are really limited.
Not all shops are open yet but I doubt they make much difference.
The only highlight is that the Esprit outlet store has moved from Northpoint to here.
yea. Its on the first floor.
Mummy bought 2 items for me in tt shop...

SO HIGH!!!!!!!!
I think i've been jumping n nodding my head for like 2hrs plus??
Yeap! Been to Mayday's outdoor concert and it was SUPERB!!!
Worth the long wait.

They sang alot of their famous songs, staring with 疯狂世界
Yeap. and although I have to tiptoes and look at them through gaps between people but I just love the whole atmosphere.
They played their new songs from the album before the concert started and the fans could just start singing by themselves!
And then when 阿信 sang the songs its like all the people at the concert knows how to sing all of their songs! Even those Hokkien songs...
Gosh. No wonder they are called 天团。
Applause to Mayday. Really.
A pity that the drummer, 冠佑 can't be there cause of the death of his father in-law.
It was really touching and nice of 阿信 to tell the fans about this news and asked everyone to give 冠佑 their support.
阿信 said: Let us cheer 冠佑 on by from across the ocean by saying：冠佑加油!!!" And everyone at the concert chorus "冠佑加油!!!"
I was really touched even though I know the drummer couldn't hear us.
But the sincerity was there.
My tears almost drop.
This is to show how bonded they all are.

Then there was the L-O-V-E part.
They were singing 恋爱ING halfway then everything stopped and Ah Xin started to sing wad Goodbye song, saying that its the end of the concert. It was 9plus.
Then the stage really went dark and they all went inside.
Then the fans keep shouting L-O-V-E L-O-V-E L-O-V-E for dunno how long
And they were back on the stage.
They weren't talking.
There were 4 of them there, cause the drummer wasn't there, and they stood out even spaced out from each other. Then they started to use hand signs to ask the fans to scream when they do a certain motion and stop when they do another motion.
Then they started the L-O-V-E thing.
怪兽 was standing on the furthest left and he asked the fans to do the hand sign for L
Next came 马沙 who asked his side of fans to do the hand sign for O, but made fun of them by stupidly shouting U instead of O and it was so funny...
My side was 阿信, who asked us to make the sign for V
Then 石头 at the furthest right asked the fans to do E.
And u noe what? It didn't really come to use when they continued the song...-_-"
Cause everyone was so high themselves they did all the hand signs for the 4 letters...

Then there was this new song called 笑忘歌。
阿信 asked us whether we came to the concert with our best friends and some of the fans echoed YES...
Then 阿信 asked us to look to our left and right. Are they your friends??
Then people murmured No...
Next he said. Its ok. He asked us to hold hands with the person beside us, no matter if they are complete strangers or a guy or a girl.
The people beside me are strangers and I did not dare to hold their hands so I held Lynnie's hand instead. (she's behing me)
And then the Mayday's members and the substitute drummer and the one who played the keyboard all stood at the middle of the stage, holding hands too.
阿信 then asked.
Are you guys going to be friends forever?
Yes!!!(fans echoed)
Will you listen to his or her problems when they need a listening ear?
Yes!!!!!!(fans echoed)
Will you accompany him or her and drink with them when they broke up with their Bf or Gf?
Yes!!!!!!(fans echoed)
Will you lend them money when they are in need?
Yes!! and some No!! !!!(fans echoed)
Will you borrow money from them when you are in need?
YES!!!!!!(fans echoed) It was louder...

He asked alot of questions and then he sang the song,笑忘歌.
Thats why I say the atmosphere was great.
Its like you don't have to care what you are doing.
You can be crazy for all you want.
Cause everybody is just as high as you.

And before he sang the hit song- 你不是真正的快乐,
He said. We must "demolish" one kind of person in the world.
Then he asked. Are you happy?
Yes!!!!!!(fans echoed)
阿信: No matter who you are, you must walk out of this place, feeling that you are Happy.
And he sang the song.

I want to tell him.
I did walk out of that place feeling Happy.
YOU DID IT! MAYDAY!

Back to blogging today!
Came back frm work and don't feel like sleeping so came here.
Well, can't say that the starting of the year has been great for me because of the forgetful me, to miss the deadline for gems e-learning quiz, not so good mst results and those endless projects.
And I went to Blackboard to find out that microbio's tutorial is due on mon!!
WTH, who will have the time to do all of those?!
However, that aside, I found out that I've become more optimistic now.
I'm not going to let things bother me that much.
I think i'm finally starting to understand the meaning of (Whats done cannot be undone). Its no use to dwell over things that are over and think too much cause things won't change when you think about it. So why not be brave and face it? I think mum is right. Sometimes when you try hard and still fail, then quitting may be a better option. Not that it means quitting school or smth. I think I just understood it using the brain of mine...
However, I found out that I've been more and more less focused on my studies.
I keep telling myself to focus focus but I keep getting sidetracked.
I can't be like other people who can study and play at the same time and still do well on their studies. I can't get sidetracked.
Saying won't help so I have to figure out how to save myself.
ASAP!

Don't really feel the need to wear them now so i shall keep them till new year??
And my bro bought my mum and me sunglasses!!!!!!!
YES. HE BOUGHT THEM FOR US.
Incredible.
Not that he doesn't spend money on us but wow, for no special reason, we were just playing ard with those glasses then he said "I'll buy one for you."
Then I said I want this.
And he bought it!
LOL
Though mum only cost $10 but it really looks good.
The important thing is that it protects the eyes frm UV.
And mine cost $29.90 when I thought its $10 too.
Well, anyways, THANKS BRO!!!

This trip was great because I actually went on those trill rides I didn't dare to go last time!

This week, as I said, has been quite busy.

Mon-Watched The Day The Earth Stood Still with Rc mates. Wasnt feeling well so didn't contine watching the other movie...
Tue-Went to erh hmm. Recording. Crazy thing to do. Won't do it again. Probably. Bought Yoga's concert tickets! YeePee!!!
Wed-Should have gone training but thinking that I'm going out everyday...better not.So stayed home. And, FINISHED READING BREAKING DAWN!!!
Thurs-Watched TWILIGHT. Thanks to Yumin that this plan could be carried out=)
Fri- Went lib and do project. Sad. Didn't complete so there goes the time for class outing...=(
Sat-SPP outing!

I liked this kind of life. But i don't get this alot.
So I guess I'm a boring person. LOL
Well, feeling not so great after the Spp outing because I felt I did Sj wrong by sidetracking during the outing...Sorry Jooz, I'll be good next time ok? She seemed down and blamed herself for ruining the outing which she didn't. Cheer up girl!

Well, going to Malaysia for the nxt 3days so I guess I'll blog again when I come back!
And school is going to start again...Haiz...3weeks is just not enough...

Spring Cleaning Sunday

I'm a little exhausted.
Just finished cleaning my cupboard as mummy says the new year is coming...
Yea. In like...one more month time?
And I did it today cause I know I won't have the time to do it nxt week.
Yea.
As u know, I just bought 4 new books and I've just arranged them nicely into my cupboard.
Now, my favorite corner of my cupboard will be...THIS!

HAHAHAHAHA...
Because this corner is the place where I put my storybook collection!
Kinda childish, I know...But I'm happy!
I think I'll try to purchase the rest of the HarryPotter books that I don't have to complete the set. But till then, I have to work hard to save money first...
Worse thing is that I Can't use my pay from work!
They go straight to the bank.
Haiz...So i have to find other ways to save money...
But how can I do that when I'm going to spend so much money next week?
Its going to be the money of 3 movies and a concert ticket!
Not counting the miscellaneous things that I will spend on...
Haiz...But I will spend those money Happily!

Breathtaking Vampires

I got addicted to books again and now this isn't about magical spells and wands...
Its about Vampires and Werewolfs...
Yes. Thanks to my beloved friends, I started reading the vampire series by borrowing from maggie and after reading the first 2 books borrowed from her, I bought my first ever set of books. Storybooks, to be exact. I didn't even buy Harry Potter myself. A charming vampire can get me to spend my money just like that, without much thought. Kudos to the author-Stephanie Meyer.

I had finished the first 2 books in record time. I could hardly put the books down unless necessary.
After I bought the whole set of books, I got started on the 3rd book-Eclipse. I intended to slow down...to enjoy the story more,(not that i didn't enjoy when i read the first 2 in record time)...but i'm already half way through it...can't seem to slow down...when I've got nothing to do, DANG! The books is in my hands...

I think i'm impressed by the way the author describes Edward Cullen, that makes the majority of the girls go head over heels for him. I'm starting to think that it's actually the romance part between Edward and Bella that makes the story interesting, followed by the vampire huntings and all that. It all goes back to a simple point why the story exist. Because Vampire secrets cannot by known to humans, and the danger comes when you get too close to vampires...like Bella. From the author's description of Edward, how can anyone not fall in love with him? Even though he is actually over a century years old...Wow, i'm fantasizing...well, a girl can dream right?
I just hope the movie don't spoil my impression on Edward Cullen...

21st Nov 2008 didn't start off perfectly well...
I went out of the house on time and walk halfway towards the mrt station when I suddenly remembered that I have forgotten to bring my anatomy report. So I called home & ask mummy to brg it dwn for me. So I brisk walk back to my block and took it. I am still so blur......

But....The day went great after that! All thanks to my beloved family & friends!
Therefore, I want to say a big THANK YOU to all of you who made my day so special!

To be frank, this is the first time that so many people wished me a Happy Birthday.
I felt so lucky and fortunate and blissful!

Mama & Papa brought me to the newly opened Sakura international buffet yesterday for my advance birthday dinner!

You have to pay before you can go in so Papa paid!

Nice no. hor. First time eating this kind of buffet.
Does seoul garden count?
Anyway, back to ytd.
Let me recall what I ate.
1.) 2 fried scallop
2.) 2 pieces of teriyaki chicken
3.) 5 small pieces of potato wedges
4.) a little bit of bee hoon
5.) 1 and a half sushi
6.) 2 dim sum
7.) 1 mouth of lamp chop
8.) 1/2 piece of chicken chop
9.) 1/4 apple
10.) 1 crabstick
11.) 1 stick of satay
12.) 1 small piece of chocolate fudge
13) 1 small piece of peppermint cake
14.) 1 durian puff
15.) 1 little piece of kuih lapis
16.) 1 piece of red bean pancake
17.) 3/4 cup of sprite

I think theres still something missing but i forgot what.
It was very filling...
Overall I was actually a little disappointed because I had expected more dishes then what they offered. Its actually not much to choose from.
But. It will be a very good place for gatherings.
There's even a birthday corner for people to hold their birthday celebrations!

This is it. I HATE TO WRITE REPORTS!!!
Its super tiring and difficult to find the correct info to group them together and to REPHRASE them!!! I absolutely hated it!
And i have yet to finish!!
ARGH!!!

Anyway, went to the library with Mag & th to do e damn report in the afternoon.
Had our lunch @ Ajisen Ramen!
First time eating there & I had the chicken teriyaki ramen, th had the spicy ramen & Mag had something which i forgot the name.
Anyway I think the ramen they serve has quite a big serving & accompanied with a side dish & a drink, its really filling.
NICE!
O ya. Have to pay mag e $$ nxt time I see her.

Another thing.
Its the first time I experienced this in the library.
We were doing our work + chatting at the same time(tts why i'm still doing the damn report) when the fire alarm sounded.
Its so loud and we thought it will stop itself after awhile but then the gate to the escalator came down instead. The gate has wording on it that says something like: Fire alarm activated & investigation in process or smth like that.
Then an announcement came that says: we are going to investigate the cause of the alarm. Please stay calm....
Smth like that.
And no one panicked or anything from the time the alarm sounded to the time when the announcement was made.
What if theres a real fire?
I mean, aren't Singaporeans too used to the "safe" mode of their lives in singapore that noone will know what to do if there really is a real fire.
Hmmm...that's something to think about.
We went home after that.

OK! Time to rack my brain again for a few minutes and I'm off the watch the HK drama!
Luckily lesson starts at 1pm tmr or I'm dead...
